Finally had breakfast at the restaurant at the Cebu City hostel, it was fantastic! We had oats, pancakes and an omelette for P300 ($8).

After breakfast we checked out of the hostel and caught a Grab for P101 ($3) to the South Bus Terminal.
We caught the air-conditioned bus from Cebu to Moalboal for P140 ($4) each, about a 3.5 hour journey.

Kyle spent the journey eyeing up the chickens roasting on the roadside and catching up on sleep.

Vendors kept jumping on the bus at different stops to sell their goods. Eventually we caved and tried a coconut pie each. Pretty tasty for only P10, a lot of people were buying a whole box!

Once we arrived in Moalboal we caught our first tricycle to get to our accommodation.

We are staying in a family residence in Moalboal, living amongst the locals! The spot was hard to find as it is at the end of a windy gravel path, but was only a 10 minute walk away from Panagsama Beach.

Excited to finally be at a beach, after dropping off our gear we headed straight to a beach side restaurant for a beer and fries.

Happy with the portion size of the fries, we went back to the same joint, ‘Little Corner’ for dinner. It was our most expensive meal so far at P715 and was quite disappointing. The beef in the adobo was so chewy we couldn’t finish it! And the noodles we ordered turned out to be spiral pasta…
