Day 10: Puerto Princesa – El Nido, Philippines

Banana pancakes and another tomato and onion omelette for brekky, then we were in a van on the way to El Nido.

The van was P600 and organised through our hostel Sheebang. We spent the first hour waiting in a petrol station for the last two passengers which was pretty rubbish, but the driver then made up the time on the way with his reckless driving.

We are staying in Kame House Backpackers in El Nido in an 8 bed dorm.

Once we had offloaded our stuff we headed into El Nido town to drop off our washing (twice as expensive as Cebu!!) and grab a late lunch. The town was super bussssssy, tourists everywhere. For lunch we had vege fried rice and a wood fire margarita pizza, bloody good!

For dinner we headed back into town so we could pick up our washing afterwards. We had beef burgers (only $2 each!) and fries. First time we tipped as we had a deaf waiter who was bloody good and running around all over the place to keep people happy.
