Sleep in day!!!! Once up we caught up on admin and made it to breakfast at the hostel at 11 am… Tomato and onion omelette with toast, oats with banana and honey, coffee and green tea. Was pretty tasty and came to a grand total of P400.
In the afternoon we walked into the city. We stumbled across a huge mall and spent a while wandering around inside to cool down with the air conditioning. For lunch we stopped in at Banh Pho for pork / chicken noodle soup. Both came with ice tea and with an extra serve if noodles and a French roll it came to a total of only P215! Absolute bargain.
From there we headed down to the Puerto Princesa Baywalk Park. There wasn’t much going on, a lot of the food stalls hadn’t yet opened for dinner service, but was a nice area.
After a short stay at the park both of our stomachs were feeling pretty dodgy so we caught a tricycle back to the hostel.
