Another sleep in wooo! Again followed by a great selection of bread and pastries at the same bakery as it was just so damn good the first time.
It was another relaxing afternoon spent exploring the streets and napping. For our late lunch we went back to Kyle’s favourite spot to demolish some crispy pork pad see yew, washed down with a Singha and root beer from the 7/11.
Following dinner we had our first massage in Thailand at Samsen Massage. I had the oil massage at 350 baht ($17) and Kyle the Thai massage at 250 baht ($12). The massage was very relaxing and followed up with tea and biscuits which was a nice touch.
Feeling ready for bed but knowing it was far too early, we were straight back into the 7/11 to get some more beer – this time a Tiger and a Leo. We drank these while wandering back along Khao San Road and smashing back some mango on the side.
For a better vantage point to soak in the nightlife we parked up at Sky666 for a beer. There was one dude talking to the lights who had apparently demolished 10,000 baht worth of laughing gas….
To finish the night off we headed back to same spot we had lunch for dinner. This time we had the drunken noodles and pork pad thai for 100 baht ($4).
